The author attempts to build an argument that the astral body of the Solar Logos is all encompassing, covering astral portion of earth, physical planets, and the purely astral planets.
It further says that each astral plane may be regarded as a whole, separate vehicle and maybe considered a part of solar logos as a chakra or an aspect.

Building on these insights, this section tries to explain how these may form the basic premise of astrological science.

How Volunteering Boosts Mental Health

Depression can feel like a heavy cloud hanging over our lives, but there’s a powerful way to lift that cloud: through service. Helping others is not just a kind thing to do; it’s also a great way to improve our own mental health. Science backs this up, showing that giving and volunteering can make us feel better by changing the chemistry in our brains.
When we help others, our brains release three important chemicals: oxytocin, serotonin, and dopamine. These are often called the “feel-good” hormones. They help boost our mood and fight off stress.
Oxytocin, known as the “love hormone,” is released when we connect with others. This happens during acts of kindness and service. It makes us feel more bonded and less lonely, which is really important for anyone struggling with depression. When we feel connected to others, our mood improves, and feelings of sadness start to fade.
Serotonin is another key hormone that gets a boost when we help others. This chemical helps regulate our mood, sleep, and appetite. Acts of service increase serotonin levels, making us feel happier and more content. This is especially helpful for those dealing with depression, as it shifts focus from negative thoughts to positive actions.
Dopamine, often called the “reward hormone,” is released when we do something enjoyable or fulfilling. Volunteering and giving to others can activate this reward system, giving us a natural high. This boost in dopamine not only makes us feel good but also encourages us to keep helping others, creating a positive cycle.
These hormones also help reduce cortisol, the stress hormone. High levels of cortisol are linked to anxiety and depression. By lowering cortisol, service helps protect us from stress and supports our mental health.
In conclusion, helping others is a powerful way to fight depression. Neuroscience shows that giving and volunteering release oxytocin, serotonin, and dopamine, which improve our mood and reduce stress. Embracing service not only helps those in need but also brings us happiness and mental well-being.

The tennis court within the 6 inches between your ears

Martina Navratilova, a legend in the world of tennis, gave away a gem of advice that extended beyond the court. When asked how she maintained her focus, physique, and sharp game even at the age of 43, Navratilova just replied, “The ball doesn’t know how old I am.” This response revealed a timeless truth: every game in life is played on a six-inch ground – the space between our two ears.Navratilova’s statement underscores the importance of the right mindset in achieving and sustaining excellence. The external challenges we face, whether in sports, career, or personal life, are secondary to the internal battles we wage within ourselves. The true test is in the mind, where focus, resilience, and a positive attitude determine our success.Maintaining focus, regardless of age or circumstance, requires mental discipline. Navratilova’s enduring career, marked by an impressive record of 59 Grand Slam titles, reflects her mental toughness, discipline and a winner’s mindset. Her longevity in a physically demanding sport illustrates that with the right mindset, we can defy societal expectations and overcome any obstacle. The phrase “the ball doesn’t know how old I am” speaks to the irrelevance of external limitations. Her story teaches us how passion, commitment, and mental clarity overrule conventional expectations. It teaches us that embracing mindfulness and presence allows us to perform optimally, regardless of external conditions.Do you know somebody who can use a good motivation boost? Key to Abundance is Generosity and Service

Laws of Karma are exact, and work without fail. However, one need not rue Karma and call it names.
The knowledge of Law of Karma enables a smart person to create the future one wants. One such application is that divine abundance follows the law of service and generosity.
This idea is beautifully captured in a quote by Paramhansa Yogananda: “Give to the world the best that you have, and the best will come back to you.” Understanding this principle can help us live more fulfilling and spiritual lives.
When Yogananda talks about giving your best, he means using your talents, time, and energy to help others. This doesn’t have to be grand or expensive. Simple acts like helping a friend with homework, volunteering at a local shelter, or even just being kind to someone in need can make a huge difference. These actions create a positive energy that spreads to others and eventually comes back to us.
Yogananda’s teachings remind us that our lives are interconnected. What we give to the world reflects back on us. When we act with kindness and generosity, we attract positive experiences and opportunities. It’s like planting seeds of goodness; with time, these seeds grow into beautiful, rewarding experiences.
Living a life of service also means looking beyond our own needs and focusing on the greater good. This shift in perspective can bring a deeper sense of purpose and satisfaction. We realize that our true happiness comes from helping others and making the world a better place.
In conclusion, divine abundance truly follows the law of service and generosity. By giving the best of ourselves to the world, we open the door to receiving the best in return. As Yogananda teaches, spiritualizing our lives through selfless acts not only enriches our own souls but also spreads joy and positivity to those around us. This timeless wisdom encourages us to embrace a life of kindness, service, and spiritual fulfillment.

Re-energise yourself the natural way

Often you come across people that are always full of energy. Likewise, you also come across people quite the opposite. Further, there are days that you are full of vitality and vigour, and other days, you feel under the weather.
What explains the varying energy levels and how do you re-energise yourself naturally and easily? Read on…

WHAT IS THE SECRET BEHIND THIS ENERGY?

This energy is what is called as ‘Prana’.
Prana can be defined as the energy that breathes “life” into us and every living being on earth. It is emitted from the sunlight and grants life energy to all organisms on earth, helping our bodies to function effectively.
Can you imagine our bodies functioning without any energy? That is how essential Prana is! Without this life energy, no living body can function at all. Life of all living beings – animals, birds, plants, and humans are a product of Prana. We consume ample amount of Prana present in the atmosphere every day for survival.

WHAT IS THE ROLE OF PRANA?

Prana is the source of life for every organism on earth and it energizes our body all the time. Helena Blavatsky, the co-founder of Theosophical Society compared Prana, to oxygen. Just as oxygen is an active chemical element necessary for organisms to breathe, so is Prana an important element for all living beings.

HOW IS PRANA ABSORBED BY OUR BODIES?

According to the school of Theosophy,
Prana is emitted from the sunlight and is present is ample amount in the atmosphere. It forms Vitality Globules in the environment which is absorbed by our Spleen Chakra (force centre) and then distributed to all other parts of the body. Since Prana enters the etheric body through the Spleen Chakra first, it is the most important of all other chakras in our etheric body.
Therefore, it is very important for the Spleen Chakra to function smoothly so that enough energy is absorbed and supplied to the body.

SO WHY ARE SOME PEOPLE LOW ON ENERGY?

Most usually, there is a trouble in assimilation of energy!
Some people are not able to assimilate this source of energy in their bodies because their Spleen Chakra is not functioning properly. This trouble in assimilation causes them to remain low on energy. Such people are often seen inactive and weak.
Because of this lack of Prana, they unconsciously tend to draw the Prana from the sensitive people around them. They suck Prana from others, only to make up for their own deficiency! Doing this does not benefit the one absorbing energy as his Spleen Chakra itself is not functioning properly. But the victims of this episode get drained out and feel tired very soon.
In contrast to this above state, a person who is physically fit and healthy is blessed with a supremely smooth functioning Spleen Chakra. This helps him in generating more Prana than what is sufficient for his body. In that case, the remaining Prana is radiated from the individual’s body in all directions.
You may have seen a person who is physically fit, often brings along some good vibes and energy in the room. It is because of the positive life energy that is constantly glowing from their body.
This overflowing energy makes him an excellent source of Prana for those around him. Such positive energy is very beneficial to everyone around them.

HOW CAN ONE MANAGE THIS SITUATION?

Helping an afflicted person: Pranic healing may also help in restoring the functioning of the spleen chakraSpleen Chakra of the energy vampire.
Dealing with a person low on energy: When one is in vicinity of a person who is perpetually low on energy, it is advisable to create a protective shield around oneself using various practices of Pranic healing before interacting with such a person

HOW DO YOU RESTORE YOUR ENERGY EASILY?

An easy way is to recharge yourself by sitting under a large tree, or around beautiful flowers. Plants and vegetables are known to absorb a lot of Prana that they do not use it significantly for themselves. Trees like oak, pine, eucalyptus obtain high amount of Prana. Sitting under a tree or around flora can help a drained person restore his or her Prana.
However, very often, this is not easily attainable. Fret not. We have something more for you
Deep abdominal breathing!
Deep abdominal breathing is a very simple and effective technique that you can use to restore your energy levels.
To do this, you sit at ease on a comfortable chair and let your belly expand as you inhale, and let your belly contract as you exhale. Do this slowly and deeply for a few cycles, and let us know how you feel!

Do this to get smarter and healthier!

We are all intelligent, but who does not want to be able to have a sharper memory, and a better presence of mind. If you belong to the group of people who would like to get better each day, this blog is for you!
The world’s richest people concur on this simple habit, which makes a world of difference to your mental and physical wellbeing. It is about sleeping early.
Here’s what the world’s wealthiest have to say about this simple habit:

“Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.”

– Benjamin Franklin, Founding Father of the United States

“I’m more alert and I think more clearly”,

Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon.com and the wealthiest man in the world

Some of the other leading lights who hit the pillow at early hours to remain alert and fresh the next morning are Bill Gates, Warren Buffet and also the Holy Dalai Lama.
The renowned / popular health and medical information website WebMD suggests that sleeping early can boost your mood helping you avoid mood disorders.
According to American News and opinion website, Huffpost’s ‘9 science-backed reasons why you should sleep early’

“While you snooze, your body is hard at work performing repairs on your heart, blood vessels, brain and other tissues that help keep chronic disease at bay. Skimp on sleep, and that nightly maintenance schedule starts to suffer. Eventually, your parts will start to wear out, setting the stage for major problems.”

WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN AND WHAT DOES THEOSOPHY SAY ABOUT IT?

This phenomenon draws from two principles based in theosophy.
    1. The role of physical elemental.
    2. Creation and use of Prana, or vitality, through the day.
The physical elemental has a big role to play in the working mechanism of dense physical body during night time and the effect when we wake up.
Keep reading to know more…

WHAT IS PHYSICAL ELEMENTAL?

In simple words, the physical elementals have two important roles
    1. They keep the physical body tense during day to perform tasks and help them remain alert at all times. This makes sure, that physical body is prepared for action all day long.
    2. They also help in absorbing Prana when the dense physical body is relaxed and at rest during sleeping hours at night.
Thus, Physical Elemental takes in Prana from the environment and assimilates it into the physical dense body, hence working like a machine throughout.

NOW WHAT IS PRANA AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT FOR OUR BODY?

Prana is a life force emitted from the sun that enters some of the atoms in the Earth’s atmosphere. This configuration can be termed as vitality globules.
Prana as described in The Etheric Double by A. E. Powell (Theosophist and Author) is a “Life-Breath”, in every creature.
Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, (Founder of Theosophical Society, Author, Occultist and Philosopher.) compares Prana to oxygen that also supports life. In western words Prana can literally translate to ‘vitality’.
Indra Deva, the King of Heavens and a God from Hindu Scriptures says, “I am Prana, and Prana is Life.”

HOW DOES A PRANA OR VITALITY GLOBULE WORK IN OUR BODY?

Prana holds all cells and molecules in our body together. Without Prana our dense physical body would be nothing but independent cells performing scattered tasks. The formation of Prana happens only during daytime due to availability of sunlight. It is absorbed through Spleen Chakra in our body and then distributed to other Chakras.

YOU MUST WONDER… HOW PRANA IS CONNECTED TO SLEEPING EARLY?

So, this is how it goes…
Like mentioned earlier, Prana comes directly from the sun, therefore its existence is unquestionable during daytime, but what happens when the sun sets and there is no sunlight anymore?
Here’s the answer…
Prana, is at its peak level (highest) during dusk and worn off (lowest) at daybreak. Therefore, all living beings must absorb/assimilate it during its maximal existence.

When the sun sets…

    • Prana is maximum in the atmosphere
    • But the production is halted
    • Every living-being then absorbs Prana
    • Dense physical body needs to be relaxed so that our physical elemental can absorb Prana efficiently
    • The sooner your physical body is relaxed, the more they can assimilate Prana from the atmosphere.
Therefore, your physical body needs to be at rest early. When you sleep early, the amount of Prana is ample for absorption and as you delay your sleep, the amount declines as well. As the night falls, the amount of Prana reduces.
Therefore, when you sleep late, the amount of Prana absorbed is less resulting into low energy when you wake up. During dawn this level of Prana is almost down to zero and therefore there is not enough Prana for Physical Elemental to absorb.
Now can hit the hay early tonight and experience the change yourself.

Don’t Worry, Be Healthy!

Bobby McFerrin released a song called “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” in 1988. This song went on to become one of the biggest hits, and humming this always filled me with lot of joy and happiness. Little did I know that those feelings also contributed to great health!
Now, we do know today that your emotional and mental state does affect your health. Indeed, we hear many people say that happiness is the key to good health.

EVE WONDERED WHY THESE EMOTIONS ARE CONNECTED TO YOUR HEALTH?

To start with, let me tell you that there are various perspectives and beliefs to emotions impacting your health.
Let’s see what western medical science has to say about it.
Multiple studies carried out by physicians suggest that mental disturbance can have physical effects.
Mental Health Foundation believes that mental disturbance can slow down your body’s working mechanism.
    • It can lead to various short-term diseases.
    • Induce other chronic diseases leaving your system exposed to other bacteria and viruses.
    • In extreme condition, it can end up being a cause for Insomnia.
While, western medical science believes that your physical and mental health is not separate, let’s see what Theosophy has to say about it.
According to Theosophy, the etheric double or widely referred as ‘Health Aura’ plays a vital role in protecting your body from negative and harmful energy from the surrounding.  Health Aura literally means an atmosphere around your physical body meant to protect you and keep you healthy.

WHAT IS YOUR HEALTH AURA COMPOSED OF?

Atoms in the etheric body that have lost Prana become like any other atom. Some of them are absorbed by the body and enter into various combinations while others which are not required are forced out of the body in the form of etheric discharges.
These discharges are expelled out in all directions in straight lines. They are at a right angle to the surface of the body.
This expulsion along with excess Prana forms your health aura.
As long as the lines remain straight and firm the body is entirely protected from the attack of harmful energy and vibrations.
It is because of these discharges, expelled in straight lines, perpendicular to the body, does the aura appear to have a striated effect.
The image below illustrates how these discharges look around our physical body.
These straight lines repel all kinds of negative energies and vibrations that are trying to enter your body. The unhealthy incomings bounce back as they come in contact with these discharges.  Along with these particles, unused Prana or excess amount of Prana is also expelled out from the body.
To know more about assimilation and discharge or Prana, you can refer our online course below.
Moving on,

WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR HEALTH AURA WHEN YOU FEEL LOW OR SAD?

The health aura can be affected by our emotions.
A feeling of depression or sadness leads to the drooping of these striations and a person tends to become more susceptible to diseases.
In such a case, your body is in great need of Prana. So, it uses up a greater amount of Prana-charged atoms, consequently resulting in serious loss of the quantity radiated. The health aura lines thus become weak and start to wilt. This allows negative energies to enter the body and make you sick.

On the contrary,

Did you know that you can also be a source of health for others around you?
Let’s see how.
If you are someone with great Physical and Mental health, your body contains more than necessary Prana-charged atoms. Your Spleen Chakra being the source of Prana in your body becomes so efficient in its working that it absorbs excess amount of Prana. The body then expels these Prana-charged atoms making it a source of strength for people around you. They literally act as a sponge and absorb Prana emitted out of your body.
Interestingly, some people can also drain your useful amount of Prana making you feel weak.

HOW CAN YOU KEEP YOUR HEALTH AURA INTACT?

In addition to all these facts, your mental-emotional state has a large bearing on your well-being. This is because when you think / believe yourself to be unwell; you end up creating a thought form to that effect, which can eventually lead you to becoming sick.

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO ENSURE GOOD HEALTH?

Fortunately, there aren’t many secrets to great health. A good, healthy diet, the right exercise, fresh air, meditation and time with loved ones ensures that most diseases will stay at bay.

WHICH IS THE BEST MEDITATION FOR ME?

I personally prefer Meditation on Twin Hearts.
Master Choa Kok Sui says, “Practicing the Meditation on Twin Hearts is like taking a Spiritual Shower. When your aura is clean, you experience a Higher Level of awareness and you see through things more clearly.”
According to World Pranic Healing website, Twin heart meditation can:
    • Reduce stress, anxiety and depression
    • Results in improved health
    • Keeps your mind sharp and induces happiness.
How do you balance your mental and physical health? Let us know!
